Believe You Can Change The World…

…And It Shall Be So

To My Dearly Beloved Childhood Cancer Family,

As always, I hope and pray this brief communication finds all of you in great health and good spirits.

Today (Monday, November 09, 2020) was a particular difficult day for yours truly, as I found myself sharing way too many communications on beautiful children whom have either recently passed away or whose beloved parents are experiencing the difficulties, anxieties and emotional tensions related to their own family's battle with childhood cancer…

As I get ready to conclude my 'day work' for this evening (as you may know, for the past twelve years I have been honored to serve as a State Farm Agent in the Greater West Valley of Phoenix, AZ), this beautiful, timely third party communication came across my desk from GapingVoid Culture Design Group and I thought it prudent to share its important message with all of you (please see below my remarks for the copy of this inspirational missive).

Make no mistake, I truly and faithfully believe that all of us working hand in hand can, indeed, change the current narrative on childhood cancer. Whether or not I am alive to see the fruition of our long, complex, arduous journey, that is a question that only God can answer. That said, the foundation that we are laying here is bound to have a profound positive, compelling, life-altering impact on so many children and families who so desperately need all of us to set whatever differences in opinion we may carry and come together and collaborate on their behalf.

Please know that I mean no one any disrespect by asserting my position in such a public, vulnerable manner. I've said this before and I will say it again: if it were one of my two young boys fighting for their very life, I would want to know that the universe would not only hear my plea for support but, even more compelling, would place before me a group of kind, caring, loving, compassionate individuals like all of you whose sole purpose would be to lend my family and I a hand in fighting this heinous, destructive battle.

Through the grace and glory of God, I have been blessed with 57 years on this bouncing ball. If I've learned anything in that time, it is that there is no such thing as 'impossible'. The laws of science and physics notwithstanding, I firmly believe that any one individual, given the right level of commitment, perseverance, dedication, discipline and, most importantly, blessing from our higher, divine spiritual power can, indeed, cause radical transformation within our world.

Having made that statement, do I believe this radical transformation will be difficult? Absolutely.
Extremely difficult? Guaranteed.
Painfully difficult? There is, unfortunately, no other way.
But impossible? No way; Personally, I don't buy it.

Whether or not all of you (individually or collectively) believe we can lead this world to a place in time where all children can survive cancer, you are correct. The Universe does not judge your answer either way.

I, for one, believe wholeheartedly that there is nothing we cannot accomplish working together… and, oh yes, that includes living to see the sun rise on that beautiful, precious day when all children survive childhood cancer. I am willing to stake my very own life on that assertion. Your children and your families mean that much to me.

In closing, please know that I love you all so very much and will stand with you (and by you) until the very end of your extremely courageous journey.

Belief is a funny thing. It seems so simple, but it makes an enormous difference to your outcomes in life.

Do something without belief, without conviction, and even the simplest task might not turn out so well.

But think, believe, own, and then act, and nothing is impossible. The most daunting challenges become attainable.

This is a reminder of the power of belief. Belief in yourself, your business, your god, your family - all that matters to you.

A powerful reminder to be posted front and center and meant for those people who really want to make a difference.
