Introducing Childhood Cancer Wisdom of Champions

Our mission at Childhood Cancer Hall of Champions is to share stories and celebrate the lives of young people who are affected by childhood cancer. Our podcast is one way we do this. Once you take the plunge and immerse yourself in a podcast episode, you may feel a close connection to the people speaking directly with you, in their own words, with their own waves of emotions.

We’ve been told that some of the moments in these episodes touch people so deeply that they need time to reflect on how they feel, or what these stories mean to them personally. Some moments jump out at us as true words of wisdom, which we wish we could share with people who don’t have time to listen to a podcast episode, or would like to start with one episode, but don’t know where to start.

For all these reasons and more, we’ve started working on a new series of articles we’re calling “Childhood Cancer Wisdom of Champions.” In these articles we’ll share special moments from podcast episodes. We’ll share hints on how to engage with people dealing with childhood cancer, ideas on how to help people in your community and more.

Please reach out and tell us what you’d most like to hear.

What would be most interesting or helpful for us to reflect on in these articles? Would you like to write one of these articles yourself, and have us share it on our web site? Please get in touch and let us know!
