Fear Is The Possibility of Freedom

To My Dearly Beloved Childhood Cancer Family,

The excerpt referenced below comes to us courtesy of Mr. Brian Moran, CEO and Founder of 12 Week Year.

While Mr. Moran did not write these words in the context of the childhood cancer experience, I found his message extremely relevant and on point as it relates to each and every one of us as we continue on our important quest in search of that most beautiful of days when all children survive cancer.

With much love, respect and affection . . . Your partner for life in this most important journey. . . Michael G. Velazquez

Fear Is The Possibility of Freedom, by Peter Stamm

Are you driven by Fear or by Possibility?

It's a very important question.

Do you find yourself stymied by your fears and concerns? Are you reluctant to take risks, and bet it all on yourself? Is your fear of failing holding you back?

All of us at some point have missed opportunities and fallen short of our best due to fear and uncertainty.

Possibility is different. Possibility is energizing. Possibility is exciting and scary all at the same time. I truly believe we were designed for possibility - each and every one of us. You were not made to live a life of fear and timidity, but of possibility.

The Bible states that God gave us a spirit of Power, Love and Self-discipline.

But just because you're designed to live a life of possibility doesn't mean it's easy. There are so many influences and experiences that try to convince us that it's better to accept our limitations. And, yes, I agree that it's important to understand our limitations, but that should never stop you from living a life of possibility and hope.

You are capable of more than you know. I've seen it with so many of our clients, and I've experienced it firsthand. You just need someone who believes in you, and encourages you to be your best.
